Services & Specialties

Treating adults from age 18 through their senior years, the physicians at Three Rivers Internal Medicine provide a wide range of acute, chronic and preventive medical care services. In addition to diagnosing and treating illness, they also provide preventive care, including routine checkups, health-risk assessments and immunizations and screening tests.

Three Rivers Internal Medicine also manages chronic illness, often coordinating care provided by other subspecialists, such as: COPD, management of high blood pressure, treatment for thyroid disease, diabetes care, care for arthritis and much more.

Billing

We accept most major health insurance carriers.  We will bill all insurance carriers for service.  Payment is required at the time service is rendered for all private pay patients unless otherwise arranged. We accept Master Card, VISA, Discover, checks and cash payment for services rendered.

Appointments

Patients are seen at scheduled appointment times.  All new patients should arrive 30 minutes early for your first visit to complete the necessary paperwork. It is important you arrive on time or contact our office ASAP if you are unable to keep your pre-arranged time.

Walk-ins are welcome; however, patients with appointments will be seen at their scheduled appointment time.

Emergencies

If you are experiencing an emergency call 911 or go immediately to the nearest hospital.

Free Preventive Care Services

Keeping your family and yourself healthy includes preventive care. Often, insurance plans cover preventive services without charging a co-pay or co-insurance — even if you haven't met your yearly deductible.

In fact, all plans offered through the new health insurance Marketplace (established by the Affordable Care Act, sometimes called "Obamacare") are required to cover certain preventive services at no cost to patients.

Click the links below if you obtained coverage through healthcare.gov or a state insurance Marketplace:

If you have health insurance through another source, such as an employer or broker, the requirement for 100% coverage may not yet apply. However, most traditional plans still cover preventive services, and some may include full coverage.

To confirm your level of coverage for preventive care and to make sure your insurance is on our list of accepted plans, check with your insurance provider or employer. Or our practice staff may be able help you. Call us today to schedule your preventive care.
